I‘m Ron Campbell - an inventor who has spent decades finding practical answers to everyday problems. TAD stands for Transitional Assistive Devices: products designed to help people live, move, and focus more independently. The TAD Lab is where those ideas become reality.

slide clear, Amber, or polarized lenses into the top slot and change them as your surroundings or activity changes. The secure drop – in design gives one frame multiple possibilities – without replacing the entire pair of glasses.

For more than 40 years, I’ve looked at everyday products and asked, “Why can’t this work better?” That question has led to canes, mobility devices, focus eyewear, and inventions sold around the world—and I’m still asking it.

At The TAD Lab, an idea gets sketched, built, tested, changed, and tested again. Some become products. Others teach us what to try next. Every one begins with a real problem worth solving.

The TAD Lab is moving beyond traditional eyewear. Our HORSEY peripheral-distraction glasses and interchangeable drop-in lens system are opening new possibilities for focus, comfort, learning, work, and everyday life.
We are already sharing these ideas with occupational therapists and others who recognize their potential. We do not claim to have all the answers—but after more than 40 years of inventing, we know that worthwhile answers usually begin with someone willing to ask a different question.
What if one pair of glasses could do much more?
